Remember to test your system once a month. It ensures your
system works properly in times of an emergency and it also helps
prevent false alarms.Testing Your System Via the Web and
Customer Internet Access:
- Visit
www.SAI-Security.com and access your security information by
clicking the Customer Internet Access button.
- Login using your User ID and Password.
- Click the "Place Account On Test" button and follow
instructions.
- Once your system is "On Test", make sure your alarm system
is turned on. Begin tripping your alarm system by opening
any protected doors or windows.
Your alarm siren will go off once you
trip the security system!
- Let the siren (or bell) sound for at least 60 seconds to
ensure enough time for the test signal to be received at the
central monitoring center.
Note: During the
time period your system is placed on test, the central station will
take no action on any signals received.
- When done testing your security system you can review the
results of the system test by clicking on the "Reports" tab and
then selecting the "On Test History" link within your Customer
Internet Access account.
- To put your system back in service, click the "Place Account
Off Test". If you forget to click the "Place Account Off Test"
button your system will automatically be placed back in service
one hour after you placed your system "On Test".
Testing Your System Via Phone:
- Call the SAI central monitoring center at (800) 705-7681.
- Tell the operator you wish to conduct a test of your alarm
system. You will need to provide the following
information:
- Your name and/or your SAI Account Number
- Your Personal Identification Number
- How long you wish your system to be placed on test
- Once your system is "On Test", make sure your alarm system
is turned on. Begin tripping your alarm system by opening
any protected doors or windows.

trip the security system!
- Let the siren (or bell) sound for at least 60 seconds to
ensure enough time for the test signal to be received at the
central monitoring center.
Note: During the

- When done testing, call the central monitoring center again
and request the results of your test. Tell the operator
you wish to place your system back in service. If you
forget to call the central monitoring center after you are done
testing, your system will automatically be placed back in
service when the requested amount of testing time has expired.
